Water Lily In Bloom

I have shown you my blue water lily (Nymphaea) before. Now I have another color to share.


Water lilies only bloom for few days but when they do, they really take over the show.


That's what they do in my garden. Each flower blooms like a queen.

    What a beauty! I went back to see the blue (violet) one again.
    It is amazing to have these waterlilies in the garden. I never saw one in the open, just in the glass houses of the Botanical gardens.

    I have never seen a water lily with fine petals like this, nor one with such a beautiful colour! I love it!!! Especially the water droplet in the second photo!
