I was in a public park where there's a big pond of white lotus.
I took many pictures but I didn't seem to get a good one that I could be proud of.
Was it my camera or was I just not in my best position to get a good shot?
I hope it's one of both because, I'm afraid, looking at the quality of flowers and the leaves,
the pond seems sick.
On the second thought, I think not!
On the second thought, I think not!
"White...is not a mere absence of colour; it is a shining and affirmative thing, as fierce as red, as definite as black...God paints in many colours; but He never paints so gorgeously, I had almost said so gaudily, as when He paints in white."- G. K. Chesterton
I think you did very well. The details are fine and looks so cool.

Few colours are comparable to white in the garden for a calming peaceful atmosphere. It's also wonderful in the night garden to have white blossoms, particularly if they're scented. I know there are some night flowering water lilies with lovely scents, I wonder if the lotus are scented?
