Update From My Garden

There's nothing going on in my little garden except for....
...some fruits left hanging in my pomegranate tree,
...balloon flowers popping up,

...a ginger vine in bloom
..and the little mulberry bush bearing fruit again!
Though my garden often brings pleasant feeling when I see blooms, there are times when I don't see any sign of fruitfulness or budding activity at all. When you are a gardener, you know that seasons come and seasons go so you just have to let it be.

Though the fig tree does not bud and there are not grapes on the vine,
though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will be joyful  in God my savior.
Habakkuk 3:17-18

  2. We have a few things still trying to bloom. It has been so warm in Texas, the plants do not what season it is. However, today it was 30 degrees. I enjoyed seeing the pretty flowers you shared today.
